How to present your home for sale

It is amazing how much first impressions really do count. Many properties are sold or not sold before the prospective buyer has even set foot inside the front door! So take a little time to look at your home as if it was for the first time and note anything that may put you off buying the property.
Even small things can make a difference and quite often the things that can be put right for free or very little cost can have the biggest influence on a prospective buyer. Consider hanging flower baskets, mow the lawn and tidy external areas. Repairing or replacing slipped or broken tiles can also help and make sure your gutters are clear. De-clutter internally as much as possible without turning your life upside down. As a general rule, if it would put you off it will put buyers off.
